Visual Effects Supervisor
The Royals (season 3) – Aug 2016 to Jan 2017
Preproduction planning, design and on set supervision for the television series The Royals. Supervision of the post production completion and final delivery with an in house team and external facility.

MPC – Feb 2012 to Feb 2016
Employed as in-house Stereographer and Lead Compositor on various projects at The Moving Picture Company (MPC) in London including World War Z, Maleficent and Jungle Book.

Senior Compositor and Stereo Supervisor
Cinesite – 2010-2012
Senior Compositor on Marmaduke, Voyage Of The Dawn Treader and X-men: First Class. Recruited for the John Carter stereo conversion project at Cinesite as a stereo supervisor. Responsibilities included daily reviews with artists, project strategy and administration, artist interviews and daily client reviews.

Senior Compositor on Prince Of Persia, Salt and Clash Of The Titans.

Visual Effects Supervisor / Head of 2D
Men From Mars – 2007-2009
Promoted to Head of 2D in April 2008 from Senior Compositor. In addition to on set supervision, artist reviews, software strategy and artist/team supervision, responsibilities included involvement in the operations and expansion of the companies 2D pipeline both in London, UK and in Mumbai, India. Projects included Little Dorrit, Solomon Kane, Easy Virtue and The Mutant Chronicles.

Visual Effects Supervisor
Rome (HBO) – 2004-2005
Contracted by the production as Visual Effects Supervisor. Preproduction planning, design and on set supervision during production of the visual effects at Cinecitta Studios in Rome, Italy for the HBO/BBC co-production of Rome from February 2004 to November 2004. AWARDS: Visual Effects Society Winner in 2006 for Outstanding Visual Effects in a Broadcast Series. BAFTA Award nominee 2006 British Academy Television Craft Awards for Visual Effects. Emmy Award Winner in 2006 for Outstanding Special Visual Effects For A Series. Royal Television Society Craft and Design Awards Nominee 2005/2006 for Visual Effects – Digital Effects.

Visual Effects Supervisor
The Life And Death Of Peter Sellers (HBO) – 2003-2004
Contracted by the production as Visual Effects Supervisor. Preproduction planning, design and on set supervision during production and supervision of the post production completion and final delivery of the visual effects for the film. AWARDS: Emmy Award Winner in 2005 for Outstanding Special Visual Effects For A Miniseries, Movie, Or A Special.

The Senate Visual Effects Ltd — 2003 to 2006
Founded The Senate (formerly Nexus) along with five other members of the Band Of Brothers in house visual effects department. Lead Artist on various projects including Visual Effects Supervisor on the HBO film: My House In Umbria.

Assistant Visual Effects Supervisor
Band Of Brothers (HBO) – 2000-2001
Contracted by the production as Assistant Visual Effects Supervisor working closely with Visual Effects Supervisor Angus Bickerton on the Steven Speilberg/Tom Hanks production of HBO’s Band Of Brothers. Responsibilities included pre-planning and on set supervision of visual effects shots, compositing of pre-viz and compositing and supervision of film finals. AWARDS: Nominated for an Emmy in 2002 for Outstanding Special Visual Effects For A Miniseries, Movie, Or A Special.

Digital Artist
The Computer Film Company — 1995-1998
Began scanning 35mm and 65mm film sequences and received training in film handling and film grading at Kodak. Graduated quickly to roto artist and then compositor creating visual effects using CFC’s proprietary systems as well as commercial software on Silicon Graphics and Macintosh workstations. Involved in over thirty feature films during time at CFC (now known as Framestore). AWARDS: D&AD Award Winner 2000 for the Guinness Surfer advertisement.

Freelance Visual Effects Supervisor and Digital Artist
Freelance — 1998 to present
Working as freelance digital artist “in house” on productions such as 10,000 BC and The Da Vinci Code. As senior compositor in London at Cinesite and Framestore and as compositor at The Mill, Double Negative, MPC and also in the United States at Industrial Light and Magic.
